The Fab Torino is hollow body electric made out of reused local timber. The whole guitar is made out of French Oak, except for the fingerboard and bridge base that are made of boxwood. The top, sides and neck are salvaged from a century old linnen cabinet, while the back comes from a billet of figured oak my parents found in the firewood.

It has just one pickup in the neck position, but it’s a humbucker that can be split with a stepless rotary knob, giving you a whole range of tones from a full fat humbucker sound to a bright en twangy single coil. The tolex covered pickguard houses the pickup as well as all the controls: the spin-split, volume and tone knob.

  • handwound splittable humbucker
  • handmade bone bridge on a boxwood base
  • 1 volume, 1 tone, 1 spin- split control
  • reclaimed oak body
  • tiger celluloid binding
  • 24 5/8″ scale oak neck
  • slim C- shape neck profile
  • neck finish: Gun stock oil buffed to a smooth gloss with Carnauba wax
  • boxwood fingerboard with abalone pearl dot position markers
  • 22 medium size frets
  • gold plated Schaller da vinci tuners
  • hard case included
