The Soho ’62  “Continental” was designed as a custom guitar for Andy Franks, a returning customer from Australia. The idea was to make a big body jazz guitar hinting back to the Golden Age of Soho nightlife. It’s a hollow body archtop guitar with handcarved top and back. The top is alpine spruce and the back, sides and neck are European flamed maple. The bound fingerboard is ebony with “London Underground” sign position markers. The headstock overlay and pickguard are made from a wildly figured piece of Mexican Ziricote wood.

The pickups are handwound PAF style humbuckers.
